Professional Hosting Workshop

Gabe Mercado is opening up a 5 session event hosting workshop next month.

There will only be 12 slots and the workshops will be conducted from 7-9 pm on March 24, 26, 28, 31 and April 2 at Kolektib, Cubao Expo.

The workshop will cover

- Kinds of Events
- Script Analysis
- Microphone Techniques
- Stage Etiquette and Blocking
- Tips and Tricks on Crowd Management
- Thinking On Your Feet
- Dealing with Clients
- Open fora with professional hosts

Workshop fee is 3,000 pesos.

Kolektib is temporarily in hiatus while we fix up the place (which we estimate to wrap up in two weeks). After that, we’ll have a bold and better Kolektib, ready to serve you.

In the meantime, we’ll be posting recruitment details and give you more info on what you’re getting into.

Kolektib’s Rocking the Riles

Kolektib is going to rock the Quezon Avenue MRT station tomorrow as part of RockEd’s Rock the Riles Project. It will feature performances by Jeff Pagaduan, Unitiima Time, Mercury OD, Nancy Drool, Top Junk and Spit! Rockin’ starts at 2pm in the afternoon. Please stop by our station!

This is also a great chance to meet and greet Kolektib folk. We are currently recruiting members to join the Kolektib (more on this soon).

Kolektib Soft Launch November 17 at Cubao-X

Kolektib will have a soft launch tomorrow at November 17, 2007 at Cubao Expo. This is going to be a joint launch event with our Cubao-X neighbors Mogwai, Sputnik and White Box Gallery. Join us for a long day of music, live musical and improv performances. Event starts at 5PM. See you there!

We are currently busy setting up the actual place.
